Joseph Dawber - Client Relations Manager
My name is Joe and my role at and my role at GOSEARCH is Client Relations Manager, which means my days include communicating closely with clients to ensure our partners are fully supported in there search marketing operations.
What’s your morning ritual to set you up for a productive day?
Check phone to see what’s happened overnight at our other office despite consistently telling myself not to do that when I first wake up… Hot shower, iron shirt, extra shot piccolo and a bit of Smooth FM on the drive-in before the madness begins.
Your favourite thing about your job is…
The people. Our staff are the best. It’s a tightknit team we have at GoSearch where we produce some outstanding work which impresses me every day. I also appreciate the opportunity to travel and having offices and clients around the globe means I keep the frequent flyer balance topped up.
Where do you want to be in five years?
Professionally, working with some of the best talent in the digital marketing space.
Personally, well who wouldn’t want to be sat on yacht baking in the sun with a cold beer in their hand, sea breeze in your hair and that taste on your lips which is the mixture of salty sweat and suncream. That’s what you put the graft in for and make the late nights and early starts worth it.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a killer week at work?
Friday night, couple of beers and the tele (currently binge watching Gomorrah, Italian crime series… watch it!) Me and my partner Sophie love our food so we like having a stroll around town trying new coffee shops for a good breakfast over the weekend. Usually end up at the match in the afternoon when I’m in the UK, torturing myself watching Stockport County, in AUS the Parramatta Eels. In Sydney we like heading up to Palm Beach, have a paddle, kick back, usually fall asleep and get burnt then finish with fish & chips for the drive home. Sunday at home is nothing but 19 cups of tea, roast dinner and football on TV.
