My name is Timothy Figueroa and my role at GoSearch is as a Web Developer which means my days generally include creating websites, maintaining websites, and implementation of content and optimizations.
What’s your morning ritual to set you up for a productive day?
House chores and responsibilities wake me up in the morning. Watering the plants, minor cleaning of the house, and playing with my dogs starts my day. Before starting work, I usually drink a cup of instant coffee mixed with green tea to keep me focused and awake for the rest of the day.
Your favourite thing about your job is…
As a web developer, there’s a fulfillment when you implement a design and bring it to life as a website. Creating something functional as well as fixing bugs and errors are both a challenge and a great achievement. My favorite thing about working for GoSearch is that the working hours are flexible and communicating with the team and bosses are great.
Where do you want to be in five years?
In 5 years, I would like my skills to be improved as well as diversified. The technology is quickly evolving and my skills should adapt with it as well. I want to see myself being able to face any challenges that might come and being able to help and contribute more.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a killer week at work?
Playing games, watching anime, reading manga, or browsing Lazada. An undisturbed 12 hours of sleep is also great.
How did you get to where you are now at GoSearch?
I was in search of a stable company that can utilize my skills, and could help me have a growth path.
If you could have any other job what would it be?
It’s either solving problems as an Engineer, creating inspirations as an Artist, or passing down knowledge as an Instructor. These are very fulfilling professions.
